Russian Doll
I’m running a bath
hot
seat on the edge
on the window ledge
is toothpaste
and shampoo for men
my hands look strong
in this light
and I think that
you might
be doing the same
somewhere
running a bath hot
with strong younger hands
like a misplaced
male Russian doll version of me
but I guess
that’s not for me to think
run when I should’ve walked
walked when I should’ve run
son
but don’t I know.
